anything. The first thing we're going to cover here, you've probably heard the headlines

that there is a new, what they call a superseding indictment of Donald Trump from the special

counsel, Jack Smith, investigating Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

And the Supreme Court had said that a number of acts listed in the original indictment,

Trump is actually immune because there were official presidential acts,

and presidents have presumed immunity on that sort of thing.

So the case was sent back to the lower court,

and the prosecutors had to actually strip out a number of a number of specific

details. You know who can tell us exactly what's going on? Peter Haralambus, ABC News

investigative reporter, and he's going to explain

how this indictment differs from the last indictment. And I guess from what I gather, Peter,

and correct me if I'm wrong, this is more about what was removed from the first indictment,

not necessarily that they added new charges. Is that right?

Yeah, that's exactly right, John. This is really a attempt to for special counsel,

Jack Smith. In light of that Supreme Court decision, as you mentioned, on presidential immunity,

he basically went through what used to be a 45-page four-count indictment and trimmed it down to 36 pages. The allegations, the core conduct,
