America is deeply divided. There are only two sides to every issue, and there is no interest in finding common ground, not even with members of your own family. But as the 2024 presidential election looms on the horizon, there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation.

Welcome to the fourth episode of the necessary conversation. Last week, I introduced everyone to

my sister, Haley, and the previous two weeks I introduced everyone to my mom and dad, who are

Maga Republicans. Now, last week, my mom and dad, who are MAGA Republicans.

Now, last week, my sister and I did an episode all by ourselves, and my mom listened to that episode,

and I thought this week was going to be another conversation between just me and my parents talking about politics,

but something in that

conversation upset my mom. And so I think we should take a few minutes up top to discuss why that was
