Hey, their, hi, there, and welcome to episode 361 of Connecting with Walt, celebrating our

10thennial year. I am your host and is historian Michael Bowling, and I am joined by my co-host, producer,

and good friend Tom Bell. Tom, how are you today? I'm well, Michael, but how about yourself?

I'm doing well. I am enjoying our warmer weather.

My garden, though, has never bloomed this early.

Oh, yeah.

I mean, my azaleas are in completely full bloom.

Usually they're starting about now.

But my roses are blooming.

And Jasmine's about to bloom. Yeah, bloom yeah well not quite them but some of the

other ones are these nine roses have buds all over them and the um my jasmine is about to bloom

probably bloom next day or so my mock oranges have started blooming days ago so my my whole back garden, it just smells so sweet.

Nice.

But it's never been this early before.

Spring lasted a week.

And then that was it.

We went right in the summer.
