cases of their career and they all seem to have that one that they can never forget welcoming him to the show. Tonight is me. We are bringing in Todd

McGee. He is founder of the 508 group. He is a Massachusetts-based consulting. He owns a Massachusetts-based

consulting and training firm. He's recognized as an international subject matter

expert on counterterrorism,

violent extremism, defensive tactics, use of force among many other things.

And Todd McGee is a retired Massachusetts state trooper who came to our attention.

Very intelligent person as you're about to find out came to us through the Karen Reed now infamous Karen Reed trial, but we know talent when we see it.

So Todd McGee is going to be continuing to weigh in with us at surviving the survivor. Todd how are you?

Doing good Joel thanks for having me and happy Monday. Thank you. Happy Monday to

you appreciate you being here so before we get into into your kind of

seminal case of your career I know you've done a bunch of jobs was being a

state trooper your first law enforcement job?

I actually started in 1987 with the registry motor vehicles police. Some different states call it DMV but we were the

state agency that issued licenses, took care of registrations, commercial

drivers licensing, and in 1992 there was a state merger of four different agencies.

Metropolitan Police, Capital Police, Registry Police, and State Police all to form a new department of State Police.
