But an intriguing hire in the AFC West as Mike McDaniel, the former Dolphins head coach,

who is a hot commodity in terms of both.

It is weird to have a guy going an interview for head coaching jobs.

Multiple interviews.

And office and coordinator jobs.

But apparently he identified the Los Angeles Chargers as a place he wants to be, and he will be

their new offensive coordinator. And you look at Justin Herbert and the belief that there's so

much more he could be, they've got some pieces at receiver, obviously, with Amarian Hampton.

If he stays healthy, it looks like they've got a very good running back.

Could the Chargers with Mike McDaniel do something now with Justin Herbert?

You start thinking about the other positions that are available for head coach.

And I always think about the fact that, yes, you want to be a head coach, but how many

chances do you get before you're not even considered anymore?

So you fail at one spot and you want to try and make sure that you get in the perfect position

to succeed the next time because that could be it.

So now you're weighing that option with the available jobs like Cleveland.

Like Tampa Bay seems like that's a pretty decent job that's out there.

I would think so.
