Hey, everyone. Welcome to the very first episode of Behind the Bliss. It's crazy. We are so thrilled to have you join us on this new adventure into the podcast world, and we honestly can't believe it ourselves. It's actually happening. We've had this dream for a while. We met in college about six years ago because we were in the same sorority and then small group,

so we shared a lot of life together.

Figured out we were very similar.

And then fast forward to now, or about a year and a half ago, I'd say, really, this dream started building and growing into something that is, wow, happening today.

Yeah.

We may not have been able to put words to it as early as a year and a half ago, but we're both in

weird seasons of transition and extra time, and this just felt like the time was now.

So, yeah, we are. So the heartbeat, honestly,

behind the bliss in this podcast is to create a space for women to share stories and the reality

of what life is really like behind the bliss. And we're going to seek to show women that

there is more than what we see on each other's

highlight reels on Instagram.

And there's power and vulnerability in sharing the hard parts with the pretty parts of our life.

I think it's cool the other day.

We were just kind of praying about what this was going to look like and came across

1st Thessalonians 2.8, which our favorite version says that

...
