We have a very special interview with the hosts of the polyester podcast, Ione Gamble and Genitonic.

their zine and their podcast. So the polyester podcast is an extension of polyester zine,

which is an intersectional, independent arts and culture publication. So Jess and I are

huge fans of them in their work. Like,

I fangirled big time with this one. But for some background, Ione is based in London. She's the

founding editor-in-chief of polyester zine and her debut book, Poor Little Sick Girls, a collection of

essays, was published in 2022. Gina is a culture and sex writer from South Wales.

She's also the senior editor of the polyester zine.

And Day's Beauty called her, quote, the writer and editor empowering a generation of fat babes.

Her first book is coming out next year.

So the work that both of them do focuses on contemporary feminism and identity.

And of course, if you listen to this podcast, you know how much those

concepts play into our discussion of beauty culture. But more importantly, you know how to have fun.
