He runs Powerline blog, which he and a couple of fellow lawyers started in 2002

have written on every single day for almost a quarter century. No staff, no overhead, no clickbait

pressure, which in 2026 makes him something close to an endangered species. I met John in New York

a couple of weeks ago, and what struck me beyond the fact that he and his colleagues read the actual

court decision instead of someone else's tweet about it is how much of today's commentary is hysteria

with a deadline. Megan, Tucker, Candice, they get the views. Indiracker gets the trust. There's a difference

and I think it matters. Normally this is a health show, but it's really a show about how people

think what they're willing to look at honestly and where the incentives push them. John and I get into the bot-farmed Overton window the strange

economics of why already rich pundits, such as Tucker and Kansas, drift into the stranger and

stranger territories. We're going to discuss Iran as the 400-pound elephant in the room. Nobody wants to address seemingly.
