I had the opportunity to speak this week with Dr. Brandy Scalachi.

And she wrote a brand new book, which we'll get into in just a second.

But she is the former editor-in-chief of the journal Medical Humanities, a former professor and museum professional, working as a historian and writer, specializing in gender, medical history,

and neurodiversity. In addition to the new book that we're going to discuss this week,

she also has an upcoming fiction book, which is coming out in August, featuring, it's a

mystery series, featuring a female autistic protagonist.

And she's made several TV appearances recently, including on The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd and Secrets Declassified with David Dukovny.

She's currently on her book tour right now talking about her new book, The Intermediaries,
