| 0:00.0 | Hello, welcome back to the Intel with Greg Cocell on Inside the Birds. |
| 0:11.3 | I'm Jeff Mosher with Adam Kaplan. |
| 0:13.1 | And of course, we've got Greg CoSell. |
| 0:15.3 | And we continue to get Greg's tape breakdowns of NFL draft prospects for the 2000 and 26 NFL draft. |
| 0:23.0 | And it's right around the corner. |
| 0:24.7 | And Greg, this is one of the episodes that everybody always looks forward to. |
| 0:28.4 | People love edge rushers. |
| 0:29.9 | We're going to go through all the great edge rushers in this draft. |
| 0:32.9 | We know the Eagles and many other teams put a lot of priority and emphasis on that position. |
| 0:54.9 | And you can't have enough. And in this draft, in this draft, it seems like there's, there's a decent amount of them. Would you say like you've, you enjoyed going through the variety of edge rushers in this Well, you know, it's interesting you say that because I've been through a, oh, I don't know, a good amount. And there's a variety of edge players. |
| 0:59.4 | Not all of them would I categorize as edge rushers in a strict sense. |
| 1:02.1 | And I think that's an important distinction to make. |
| 1:09.0 | There are some players who are sort of prototypical 4-3DNs who are good players and good prospects, |
| 1:12.2 | but if you're looking solely for an edge rusher, |
| 1:14.7 | they may not be the guy you want. |
| 1:21.7 | So we tend to categorize everybody who plays on the edge as an edge rusher, but it's not always the case. |
| 1:22.9 | And we'll get to that as we go through some individual names, but I think it's important |
| 1:27.3 | for people to understand up front that not every one of these guys is a quote unquote edge rusher that if you draft them, wow, you've got a rusher. Right. You might have a good football player, but he might not be a great rusher. It's a great point. On that point you just made, I'll never forget a friend of mine who, who's had Iowa over the years. |
| 1:45.0 | You have a friend? Yeah, actually, I do have them, believe it or not. I don't actually don't pay them to be my friend. But anyway, so. According to sources. Exactly. I remember A.J. Epinessa, I said, hey, I think he'll go on the first or second round. What are your thoughts? He goes, he's a power end. He's not an edge rusher. |
| 2:01.6 | Yeah. He goes, he's a power end. He's not an endrusher. |
| 2:01.5 | Yeah. |
| 2:02.4 | He goes, he can do it. |
