But first, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who signed a four-year $140 million

contract this offseason, said on the Rich Eisen Show that he understands why quarterback

Kirk Cousins left Minnesota for Atlanta, but thinks the Vikings

will remain competitive with Sam Darnold or J.J. McCarthy at the helm.

I feel like he just wanted a new start, a new opportunity to, you know, start with Atlanta

and a clean slate. And I'm not mad not mad at all for that uh i'm grateful for

for what he has brought to me and um you know the things that we have accomplished together

um but you know at the end of the day it's a business and um you know you got to do what you

got to do for yourself and for your family and

I clearly understand that but you know it's it's on to the next it doesn't matter if it was

Kirk or if it's Sam or if it's JJ you know I'm going to make them you know make, make it as easy as possible for.
