On a cool, windy October day, I met with Stony Bird and Winder Georgia. Right back where it all began.

Though we talk often, it had been a while since I'd been to Winder or Stony, and it felt good to

catch up. I turned on my recorder and asked him what's changed lately in his life.

I bathe you every moment of every day with my family, with life with people. My whole life's change.

It's like I was half full of a girl which can and somebody emptied me and washed me. That's

how I feel. I'm comparing to before I met you. I missed that. I've really missed hanging out

with this guy. We've been through quite a bit together in the three years or so since I first

knocked on his door and explained to him what a podcast was. I never get tired of hearing how his

outlook on life has changed for the better. Unfortunately, not everything in Stony's life

has been perfectly. No, sir, we've had our difficulties like everybody. Mainly due to the

stillery conflict, but other than that, I can't report nothing bad.

The rock solid distillery that Stony and his son Stony opened at the end of season one has been

closed since February of this year. I asked him to tell me in a nutshell what was going on,

the two-minute version. But really, what was I thinking? Because Stony can't tell any story in
