Welcome to the show for maybe the first ever two-man pod in our not quite illustrious history, Dane Cash. I think it's an illustrious history. Our history. We can't say that. And I don't think it's true. But also, it's not just a two-person pod because we've got a whole other segment of the show that will make it more than just two people, right? Yes. Let's address what's going on. So, as you may know, fearlessly, the Cayley

Frets down in Australia for the Tour Danander and various meetings and such. So they did a live

podcast while we were asleep day, how rude, with Kaylee Fretz, Matt Deneef, Dave Rome, professional

button pusher, Zach Williams, and most excitingly, over 30 escape members.

Ooh.

A live podcast. So that has been recorded and is going to form a 30 minute to an hour long after dark segment today.

So that's for the members only. You know, members in the room and members in the headphones.

So what we're going to do is maybe, maybe 20, maybe 30 minutes of some of our own musings from the week. We don't want to, you know, I've got to get my takes off. Otherwise, I start, you know, climbing up the walls. Yeah. So a lot of TdU chat from the after dark pod. so make sure to sign up to get that, to scratch your podcast itch.

But the only thing I'd like to overlap with the show that's already been, or that you'll

listen to after maybe, is this stage two of the Tour Down Underanda where UAE rode off the front Adam Yates set up J Vine and Yonatan Navice to just explode on the climb. Was it a corkscrew climb? Is that what it's called? Yeah, it was corkscrewed. It was sort of a, I mean, it was like Pagotcha on a Grand Tour as where you hit the front. This time it was Yates at the front hammering away.

It wasn't an alpine climb. It was corkscrew. And it wasn't tied to Pogatra or it was J. Vine and

Jonathan Navaez. But we've seen this before. Yeah. And they then those two teammates working

together into the finish line. Navice ushers J vine through to the front to take the win and the overall lead. Partly because I think Nevisse was like he was stronger. J-Vam was doing a lot of the pulling. And they actually managed to get a gap of over 50 seconds, I think. So that could be Tor Danunda wrapped up. Typically this race is decided by less than that. Yes, a few seconds.

Like last year's entire race was decided by nine seconds.

So, and as was apparently, I'm looking at the results from recent years, as was the year before that, 11 seconds the year before that.
