So this first one comes through Chris and Carl May via The Guardian.

And the headline reads,

Arrest made after jewel thief

scooted off from mind-boggling Paris heist.

French police have arrested two suspects

after a thief took jewels worth

$2 million euros and $3 million from an exclusive

Paris store and scooted off

before the alarm could be raised.

The two suspects who were traveling on a coach were arrested in a motorway lay by in Moselle in eastern France on Wednesday morning. Officers said a substantial part of the jewels stolen in the heist had been recovered. Good. Yeah. I mean, France, man. France and jewelry hikes. It's going wild now. There is no shortage of jewel heist. It's crazy. People be robin. People be people be heisting. The man made his getaway on electric scooter after reportedly threatening staff at the showmeage jewelers near the Champ de Lézy. CCTV shows the alleged thief, gray-haired and wearing a light gray suit, white shirt, and tie arrived at the store about 510. Shortly after, he was filmed leaving the shop with a white bag of jewels and gemstones and departing on a green scooter that he had left parked outside. Is this the first bird scooter heist? Is that what they're talking about? Is that the electric scooter they're kind of referring to? Yeah, yeah, that's what it looks like a bird scooter. Oh my gosh. That's crazy. Bird getaway. Bird get. Do you think he was like, beep? Like he's like swipes the thing. I was like, all right, cool, let's go. It's on the app. Oh, man, 3%. Staff told police the lone man had at first pretended to be a customer asking to see various pieces of expensive jewelry before drawing a knife.

No one was injured in the robbery.
