Let's pray together. Will you bow your heads with me and let's pray?

Our Father in heaven, we're coming to you this evening all across the country and all over the world.

We thank you that you've been so gracious to us.

Lord, we live in a world where technology unites us, and yet we can be united for causes of good

or causes of evil.

And tonight, Lord, we ask you to search our hearts and see if there's any wicked way in us

and wash us clean and lead us in the way everlasting.

The good ways, the true ways, the beautiful ways, the ways, the ways that please you and bring

blessing to one another.

Dear God, help us to understand this idea of sacred covenants and promises tonight.

Because we understand that's how you work in this world.

That's how you work with families.

That's how you work with the family of faith and how you work with civil governments.

Lord, I don't believe that this world is trash or it belongs to the devil.

I believe you made the world, that you created it, and you said it was good, and you so love the

world that you sent your son into it so that all who believe in you might be saved.

And Jesus asked for your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And so, God, we ask for you to help us do that,

to be the fulfillment of that prayer that he uttered 2,000 years ago.

Teach us tonight, dear God.
