This is seriously in thinking about this episode, The Importance of boredom. I kept thinking if I could

like take my heart, I pictured it like a bucket, like I could tilt it and just pour it into this

microphone that I'm using here because this has become such an important and fascinating thing I've

been exploring. So I'm going to talk about The Importance of boredom in just a second. But first,

of boredom. And I want to talk about the selective nature of perception. I want to talk about the

DMV. I want to talk about something that's happened to me starting in December. And we'll talk about

a passage from the Psalms. And there we go. So that's what we're going to cover here in the next

few moments. And here's what I mean by boredom. By boredom, I don't mean the boredom that I wrote

about in my book, how to be here, where I talked about boredom as a spiritual disease.

That boredom is a spiritual disease of not believing there's anything interesting to create or make here.
