get into what we're talking about, and then we can get into what we're talking about, and then we can get into what we're talking about today.

I was kind of forced to go to church, and when I actually met God in a real way, everything changed, and so there's a passage in St.

1:43.5

Trentian's that I kind of have as my life mission, Paul says, we don't exist to preach about ourselves, but Christ Jesus is Lord, and ourselves is your servants, for Jesus sake, and so that's what I exist to do, and so I do that at the church that I work for, and online, and YouTube, and TikTok, and Instagram, and so, and I just started a new podcast as well.

2:04.7

Kirby, did you know that?

2:05.9

I remember you talking about that on, I think it was TikTok, I didn't know that it was like up and running it, or the episode's live.

2:13.7

We just launched, we're like two episodes in, yeah.

2:15.9

Wait, what's the name of your podcast, everyone can go with it, or real?

2:20.7

It's called the Theomatic podcast.

2:22.7

That's what you all do.

2:24.2

Well, the tagline is making good theology automatic, and so we made up that word Theomatic, it's a combination between theology and automatic,

2:33.2

and it's actually a lot to do with what we're talking about today, and so I'm excited to have this conversation with you.

2:38.2

It's based all around this concept that we need to know, not just God's word, but we need to know His heart.

2:46.2

And when Jesus was in the wilderness with the devil, which by the way is such an interesting passage, because it says He was led by the Spirit, but then He was tempted by the devil, and then you remember that the devil was tempting Him, same type of temptations that we all face,

3:01.2

but then the devil even quotes the Bible.

3:04.2

It's crazy.

3:06.2

But Jesus wasn't thrown off by it because He knew that the devil was quoting a good source in an untrue way.

3:14.2

And so He knew the scripture and He knew God's heart so well that He could come back, come back the lies of the devil, the deception, and the temptation, and walk in God's path for Him.

3:26.2

Amen. And I think that's just like so relevant today, because not even just I don't want to say within the church or Christianity, there are some people who don't have good intentions with how they are using scripture, whether it's manipulation or power.

3:41.2

I'm not saying everyone's like that, but some people can be, but I see a lot of people in culture even trying to use the Bible as a source against Christians to dispel their God, dispel their own beliefs.
