In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about the importance of always reading the labels. Recently one of his staff asked him of his idea on a certain cookie butter food, where they wondered why is it so addicting. He also talked about how it contains a tremendous amount of sugar per serving and how it contains a lot of bad food as the ingredients.

0:51.0

always read labels.

0:53.7

One of my staff members recently asked me if it was okay to consume this peanut butter.

1:00.0

So I want to talk about this.

1:02.3

And so I, first of all, it's called cookie butter.

Wheat flour? Okay, so that is a massively high glycemic

1:55.4

index and it's probably not even whole wheat so not that it makes a difference.

2:00.2

Okay then next one is sugar. vegetable oils containing, and this is interesting, one or more of soybean oil, sappflower oil, canola oil, palm oil.
