I'm an associate professor of African American Studies at Wayne State,

a member of the anti-imperialist scholars collective,

and a delinquent member of Black Alliance for Peace.

Sorry, y'all. I don't do very much in the organization right now,

but we'll always rep the set. And just overall,

beleaguered, denizen of this hellscape. So thanks for having me again. Yeah, thanks for

joining. It's been, I don't even, I was trying to remember when the timeline is so off right now,

things have really escalated in this, in this particular moment, but so much has happened

between our last conversation and now too much time has passed. Let's just say that. You published

a book, a really excellent book. Black scare, Red Scare, super useful back there. Your mom painted

the cover too. She did. Yes. Yes. It is really cool.

And you recently just, I don't have a copy of it. I haven't had a chance to order it, but I did
