Yes. Thank you, Peter. My name is David Coiz, and I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

I was actually born near Chicago and grew up there for my first 18 years.

I went to Bethel University called Bethel College at the time in Minnesota.

That's where I did my undergraduate training.

I studied at the Institute for Christian Studies in Minnesota. That's where I did my undergraduate training. I studied at the Institute for Christian

Studies in Toronto. And in political theory, I went on to the University of Notre Dame in 1980s,

and that's where I got my PhD. And then for 30 years after that, I taught at Redeemer University

College here in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, not too far from where we live here.

I've been retired now for seven years, and I am working for an organization called Global Scholars Canada.

And I'll simply say that there were two major events that pushed me into the study of

politics. And one of these was the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, which took place 50 years ago

this month, which all of my relatives on my father's side, who was born in Cyprus, became refugees overnight.
