Reeves 40 billion pound tax bombshell for Britain's strivers,

says the now reliably hysterical daily mail,

although, as is also a matter of tradition now,

the Daily Telegraph manages to be even more hysterical with the phrase nightmare on Downing Street.

What I love about the Daily Telegov, and I won't delay you, detain you unduly with regard to newspapers to start with.

But we do need to remind ourselves, I think, routinely, how we've

ended up in a country where anyone could sort of think that the budget analysis, the morning

after the budget analysis is the morning to throw open the floor to various Tory grandees

and recently dismissed politicians.

But the Daily Telegraph lists across the top of its front page five commentators,

and I haven't checked on all of them.
