Summary

In this episode, Kim replaces the usual Q&A format with a powerful masterclass on one concept that explains why so many women struggle to change their bodies. After reading through the questions from the group, Kim realized that almost every question had the same underlying issue: women begin fitness programs with a hypothesis about what their body will look like, how fast results will happen, and what transformation should feel like. When reality doesn’t match that expectation, disappointment follows. Kim shares the story of her own journey — from being a starving yoga teacher living on 1,000 calories a day to discovering bodybuilding and stepping on stage as a bikini athlete. Through that experience, she learned the difference between assumptions and real data when it comes to body transformation. Inside this episode: • Why dieting alone doesn’t change body composition• The difference between hypothesis and real-world data in fitness• Why unrealistic expectations derail progress• The truth about how long muscle actually takes to build• How to turn disappointment into useful feedback• Why consistency over time is the real key to transformation This episode is essential listening for women who want sustainable fat loss, real muscle development, and a mindset that supports long-term results. ✨ Follow Kim Constable online for more real talk and daily motivation: šŸ“ŗ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSculptedVeganšŸ“ø Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thesculptedveganšŸŽµ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thesculptedvegan🌐 Website: https://www.thesculptedvegan.com

I want to announce today that I am not actually going to do a Q&A. The reason why I'm not doing

0:05.0

a Q&A is I'm going to teach you a masterclass instead. And the reason why I'm going to teach you

0:09.9

a master class is because as I read through the questions in the group, I realized that each and every

0:15.7

question could be answered by exactly the same answer. I am going to teach a masterclass and I am going to teach you what I believe everybody who had a

0:25.5

question and everybody who doesn't have a question, but what every single person, every single

0:30.5

woman who is attempting to change her body needs to understand and needs to know.

0:34.9

And that is what we are going to be discussing today. This is the last

0:38.6

week of the but camp, but there were a lot of questions about, you know, how do I maintain? How do I

0:43.2

keep moving forward? How do I go on holiday without debailing my progress? Let me go back to the very

0:47.4

beginning. So I want to take you back to April, almost, let me see, April 2016. So almost exactly 10 years ago to the, to the, well,

1:01.5

almost to the month, but not quite, exactly 10 years ago, I was a skinny yoga teacher.

1:09.0

And some of you will have heard this first story that I'm going to teach,

1:11.7

but it's always good to hear it in a different way, which is what I'm going to be teaching now,

1:15.2

but I was a skinny yoga teacher. And the reason why I was a skinny yoga teacher 10 years ago

1:20.0

was because I did not know any other way to change my body composition other than dieting.

1:26.8

That was it. That's all I knew.

1:28.3

So anytime I had ever in the past achieved what I would even think of as my perfect body,

1:34.3

it had been when I was super lean. And I had been really, really lean in my early 20s.

1:39.5

Whenever I was riding horses semi-professionally and I was in university. I was super lean. I would have

1:46.4

been like an American size two, so a UK size six, really, really, really lean. And so it looked like I had

1:53.1

some kind of muscle mass because, you know, I was so lean you could see my muscles. But after that,

1:58.4

I went on then to meet my husband and you stop riding horses and put on a little bit
