Some days, it feels like all you can do is watch world burn or drown, as the case may be. This is especially true for those

of us who live in a path of a hypercane. What's a hypercane? I'm so glad you asked. In a

frighteningly possible future, you'll be hearing more about them. As the planet warms and the

climate changes, we're in for all kinds of new and bizarre extreme weather

systems. So hypercane is a hurricane so big and so powerful it extends through several

states. Well, today on cyber, we've got something special. Another short story for Motherboard's

first book, Terraform. With me today on the show is one of the book's editors, Brian Merchant, and special guest, Eric

Holt House.
