So all month long this month out of the awesome marriage podcast. We're going to be talking about roles

in marriage. So kind of to kick things off today, we're going to start with the topic of the

husband's role. So just to kind of start things off, Dr. Kim, what do roles in marriage even

mean? Like what does that mean exactly? I think that in every marriage,

whether a couple just sits on defines or not, there are roles that just, you know, what do you

do in marriage? How do you handle things? Who's going to do what? So we kind of define that.

Sometimes it's a couple's a little more struggle doing that, figuring out, and I think a lot of

couples, it just kind of goes to what their gifts are, what their strengths, what their abilities are. But if you think you don't have

roles in marriage, you're probably missing something because we do. If you really stop and think

about a typical week and maybe write down what you do as a husband and what she does as a wife

or vice versa, you can see there's some roles that you guys are playing in your marriage.

And it's really just kind of how we handle things day to day in our marriage relationship.

Yeah, awesome.

That's great.

And two, you talk a lot about in some of your books and the blogs that you've written about

the kind of the essential roles that God has given us as far as when it comes to female,

a male, husband, and wife.
