My experience began around the age of 10.

I grew up in a two-story semi-detached council house in the UK, home built in the 1970s.

It was a pretty popular type of house for that time period. I lived with my parents.

I was an only child and our family would definitely be in class as a low-income family.

My father, when sober, had a few kind moments, but when life weighed on to me, grew

pretty harsh and unpredictable, mainly towards me.
