our next paranormal encounter.

Our experience happened seven years ago. We had just bought a house on Longmead Avenue in Bristol.

The house that we bought was a three bedroom semi-detached and one of the main selling

points was the garden at the back which was a pretty good size garden.

It was a garden that we needed.

We had a black Labrador named Murphy and it's worth noting that Murphy is pretty calm by nature, he's an older dog, he doesn't

really bark, he doesn't chew things anymore, and he's pretty comfortable with the two

of us, he's okay with strangers, but he likes to do his own thing.

From the first day that we moved into the new house, Murphy started acting odd. He would pace

rooms in slow circles with his nose down like he was following a scent.

At night he was keeping us up, just walking up and down the hall.

Sometimes he'd let out this low, brettie kind of bark,

which is his signal for either wanting to go to the toilet, wanting some food or trying to get

at something that he just can't get at, basically.

We definitely thought it was just nerves, new environment, new smells, confused, wanting

to go back to the old house.
