If you would go with me this morning to 2 Timothy,

2nd Timothy, the 2nd chapter,

we've been talking in these sessions about the honor of God,

and it is a tremendous subject.

It's some of the most precious things in my heart.

And I thank God that he let me and allows me to teach on these things now

and talk about these things.

And before we get through, we're going to get to some things that I don't know if I'll be able to teach it without crying.

If I do, that's just fine, because I enjoy that kind of cry anyway.

But there are some of the things of God that are just so precious and so wonderful

that it touches you deep inside.

Deep. And it touches you in such a way that you deep inside, deep.

And it touches you in such a way that you don't forget it, ever.

Fifty years from now you can think about it and it's just as fresh to you as it was then.

Our God is an honorable God.

He's a glorious God.

And his characteristics and his ways are so perfect and so right.

And he always handles himself and deals with people and situations in the right and the perfect way, the honorable way.

And he intends that we learn his ways and that we become like him.

We're not to think, well, we're just ignorant, stupid human beings, and I mean, we don't know much,

and it's not expected that we know that much, we're just going to flound around and act crazy.

No, no, God expects us to learn about Him and act like Him.
