I believe that the Lord is ordering our steps, and we're not wasting our time.

We're not wasting our effort, our life.

But God is ordering our steps. Amen.

Directing our paths, and that this will be time well spent, not just because I'm here, but because the Lord's here.

Amen, and he's talking to us.

You know, even though I'm speaking, I expect to get ministered to.

Amen. You know, there's a lot of times I'm teaching or preaching and I learn things while I'm talking.

I like it like that. You know, when you're really doing good, you preach beyond yourself.

You know what I'm talking about you you might not if you're not a minister but you do you just

you know you stop and go wow that's good let me write that down

and you have a greater awareness that it's not just you

but the Lord does an on us, doesn't in it.

He helps us, speaks through our ministry gifts, and to us personally.

Well, I think we'll just get right into the word.

This morning we began talking about this subject, and we read and took some time to read some scripture in this second chapter about how Hannah bore Samuel, how he went to live with Eli and his sons, and about how the Bible said the sons of Eli were sons of Belial, sons of the devil.

You know, isn't it interesting that faith in God is not genetically passed down?

And even more interesting that you can be in the presence of faith and the presence of those that know and honor God and yet come away destitute of it.

These boys grew up around a man and probably men of God, women of God.

They grew up around the presence of God, and they came to take it all for granted, they came to disdain it and not
