And the result of all this disincarnate,

disembodied speech is that we can't arrive at agreement

on the basic definitions of words.

I mean, there's no agreement right now

on what race actually is or means.

There's no agreement on what the word lesser means

in the context of Ilya tweeting about a lesser black woman.

It's just a fight over who gets to define what words

at what times.

And meanwhile, you know, the sort of infrastructure

of the country is just crumbling.

I mean, you've got your rusting F-35s on the aircraft carriers.

You've got the train tracks littered with the ruins

of, you know, Chinese products running through L.A.

being ransacked by by enterprising gangs.

People are losing the everyday habits

of building and rebuilding the world in a way
