As a revival of interest in natural health care occurs, we do well to educate ourselves in the art of family health care.

Family health care is an art that mothers practice on a daily basis.

We observe our children. We evaluate the need for intervention. We medicate as

necessary. We seek other opinions when appropriate. Mothers by nature of our

calling become family health care practitioners.

Look upon the home practice of health care as a heritage to teach your children

so that they may then teach this to their children and so on through the generations.

Mom, you are an artist.

God endows us with the unique ability to house and nurture his new creations in our wounds.

Just as our health habits, spiritual and physical, provide the background colors onto our children's

divinely designed body blueprints, our mothering attitude and actions paint the color in our children's

lives that will one day be a complete

portrait of God's creation. What an amazing job we have. What a blessed job we have.

We are called to an awesome life of ministry, that of stewarding our children.

We steward their environment, the home.

We steward their health by nourishing them and caring for their illnesses.

We steward their spirits by teaching them the wonder of

their design and their own purpose in God's creation. May the Lord bless our learning. May we present

ourselves as willing vessels for his use in the creation of our

masterpieces, our children.
