Well, welcome back to Bright Hearth. My name is Brian Soave, as usual, joined by my lovely wife, Lexi. Lexi, say hi to the people.

Hello. You should have been here for the amount of shenanigans that went on trying to record

this introduction, that cold opening.

A short one too.

Every time I started, you know, Cyril's coughing on the other end of the door, then Lexi's stomach makes a loud gurgling noise,

and then I was laughing. Anyway, in this episode, I intend to cost you a lot of money.

I know that Thomas Chalmers said that it's cheap and you know I don't necessarily know if that's true Chalmers.

Today we're in the library today you know we've

been walking through the rooms of the house in this first season of Bright hearth and really asking of each room what are the arts and disciplines of the

productive Christian household of domesticity that the Lord would require of us

and call us to in each room of the house. And so we're

getting to the end of the house here and we only have a few episodes left in

this season before we jump into season two.
