I was at dinner, I'm going to sound like a Craig Fin solo.

I was at dinner with Craig Fin, but I was at dinner with Craig a couple months ago.

My guests today are Tad Coobleur and Craig Fin from the whole study and I said something

off hand to Craig and when I said after I said it for a while, I realized how true it

was, which is that the whole study are my last favorite band because I think I was still

in my early, early 40s and I think it's really hard to find a band that you can fall in love

with in the way it becomes this declarative thing, your favorite band.

The band that means the most to you in the world and to care that much and it's still

the case that since I became a whole study fan, no, you know, I mean in my life it's like

it was Van Halen, you know, not counting the solo artist, right?

It was Van Halen and then REM and the whole study and as those bands disappeared and

you guys are still, I remember mourning it when it seemed like it wasn't going to happen

and you guys are the best band in the world.

And I'm, I say it all the time and so it's a thrill.

The fact that we're friends is a great cherry on top thing but the thing that you are together

with the whole study is really incredible so I'm so glad to get to talk to you on the

eve of the release of your newest record, The Price of Progress.
