Let's put a bow on the Patriots 20-23 draft, which also, Phil, in many ways, it ends

the player acquisition period for this offseason.

The team is the team.

There might be some tweaks.

There might be a Devante Parker stray.

There could be a Kim Newton coming through the door.

But generally speaking, done.

These the guys, what you take on the weekend specifically?

I thought they got two players that fit them in a variety of different ways.

They check a lot of boxes for them in the first and second round.

I think the third round and on, I wouldn't be stunned if Patriots fans are wondering about the Patriots approach there.

And I can tell you, league people feel the same way.

It's sort of scratching their heads about the Patriots not taking an offensive player

until the fourth round.

The Patriots not taking a tackle, not taking a pass catcher until the sixth round.

So if you've got some issues with this draft class, know that you're not the only one.

But I do think they got better defensively.
