podcast magazine ahead of a new episode coming this weekend. It rounds off our trip

back to medieval Japan when we talk about the Ashkaga Shogunate.

And that will be coming this weekend,

but until then we've just got a little bit of a gap filler

for you this week, a walk back into history,

and in particular the history of this very podcast.

So we're going to go back and look at what we were talking about on this date

in previous years in the podcast history.

Now, our first journey back in time

will take us back to what we were talking about last year. And last year we were talking about last year and last year we were talking about a very

epic battle between two great military commanders it was the battle of Erstuf and it pitied Saladin against Richard the Lionheart and was a very central and focal point in the Crusades.
