from its very beginning has had to be at times

a hidden religion.

You know, something about Christianity really terrifies the powers of this world.

And I think for good reason.

And because of that, Christians have often had to go underground. And Catholics, specifically, specifically you know in more recent times

have to go into hiding to be able to celebrate their faith and worship their God

in accordance with you know the Yeah, and it began in the early church for centuries.

We know that to be an expression of our faith just from the early times.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to do this episode for a while

because I think it really is so fundamental.

I mean, even the way that we worship in mass today

was influenced by how the early church had to hide. The way that we
