Well, let's get going with this show. Our first topic today, Hillary Clinton's new book, what happened? Although it has no question mark. It has no question mark. So how do you say that? What happened? What happened? What happened? WTF happened. I don't know how to say it. Anyway, what happened? The various reactions to it in the press and her appearances. And then what do we think of the book? Second, we're going to talk about this moment in campus sexual assault. This is a moment of reassessment.

A lot of people taking stock of what we know, what we don't know, what's going right and wrong. So we'll talk about that. And we'll have Emily Offie on as a guest. She just did a fabulous three-part series for The Atlantic. And finally, a new study about the awesome importance of best friends. Okay. Hillary's book, what happened? So the reactions in the press, I would say, have been fairly predictable. You know,

there have been some book reviews saying, what a whiner, what a complainer, you know, how could you write this book at this moment? There's been a lot of support from the feminist press because

she does talk a lot about what it's like to be a woman in the campaign and a woman in the

workplace in general, the shrillness of women,

all of those topics. So we will discuss today what we think of this new book and this moment in

Hillary's life. So, Noreen, I'll start with you. How about that? Let's start with the reactions

in the press. Sort of how did you, how did you think the book was received? Yeah, I'm

shocked that you don't think it's surprising the way it was received. I have to say that I, I guess

maybe I shouldn't be, but I was completely, I just was a little bit bold over by the way people

seemed, the default reaction seems to be, why is this woman talking about the election?
