So this week, I'm going to talk to you for a while about me and depression and road rage and trucks and doctors.

Then I'm going to talk to somebody else about therapy and Dungeons and Dragons.

in paperback, where books are sold. The book has received a lot of great reviews, Publishers Weekly starred review, The New York Times liked it, The Today Show.

Most importantly, a lot of people have written to me saying that this book has helped them on their own mental health journey. The hilarious world of

depression is a memoir of where mental health developments intersected with the life I was living.

Some of these stories are very painful. Some are pretty funny. A lot of them are somewhere in the

middle and both. I'm really familiar with these stories, both from having

written them for the book and, you know, from living them. And there are parts that I read a lot

at bookstore events when the hardcover came out. But I asked our Facebook listener group,

the Precies, what they wanted to hear read aloud. And one section kind of emerged as a

really popular choice. Katrina said, taking your truck, the grape ape to the dump, and running into a

couple of bros with shiny new trucks. That was one of my first sincere belly laughs in a very long time.

People jumped in into agree.

Tom said, same, because there were so many times my depression manifested in anger and I had no idea what was going on with me.
