the concept of a Higri calendar was not something that he himself

instituted, sallah a lehi was Sallam but rather in the 15th year of the Hjira in in the time of Umeh-Ir-Bel-Qatara

they realized they needed a calendar as the civilization grew as the Muslims conquered more and more lands

as they had to have a registry and a system so they began to absorb the ideas and the concepts that would benefit them.

And of those ideas was a calendar.

gathered the senior Sahaba in the Masjid of the Prophet,

and he said to them,

we need a calendar that is our calendar.

This is what happens when civilizations grow. and there's nothing wrong with getting ideas

that are useful from other civilizations.
