Well, Paul wrote in the book of Ephesians that husbands, we are to love our wives as Christ loves the church.

And he gave his life for the church.

Practically, how do you and I give our life to our wife?

I'm John Fuller, along with Greg Smalley and his wife, Aaron.

They lead the focus marriage team, and Greg is a husband.

You lead through sacrifice.

I mean, that's what husbands do sometimes.

What are some examples of that and how that's looked in your life?

Yeah, I think for me, I try to look at in two ways.

One is, how can I serve Aaron? And so I define serving and

sacrificing as two very different things. So I think serving is when I recognize that I get this

privilege of helping to bear Aaron's burdens. Like whatever's troubling her, whatever help she needs,

she needs me to stop and grab something to the store.

To me, that's more serving her, just making life easier for her. I think sacrifice is such a

beautiful concept because it's taking something that you own, so you have to possess it and that

you value and you give that to your spouse.

For example, that could be comfort.
