Turn with me to the book of John, the book of John and the 14th chapter.

Jesus said, John 14 and 16, he said, I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.

Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it sees him not, neither

knows him, but you know him, for he dwells with you and shall be in you.

It's an interesting thing how the Lord has done this.

If you read the rest of this 14th chapter, well, we're right here at it.

Let me just read it with you.

Jesus talked about from that verse down to verse 21 that he's going to reveal himself to us.

Verse 20, he said, those that keep my commandments, I'll love them and will manifest myself to him.

Manifest means to show, to uncover, to reveal, to make known.

If it's covered, you don't see it, you're not aware of it.

If it's uncovered and revealed and made known, you see it.

You know it.

You're aware of it.

And verse 22, Judas, this is not Judas Ascariat, a different Judas.

He said, Lord, how is it that you're going to manifest, you're going to show yourself to

us, but you're not going to show yourself to the world?

He said, how are you going to do that?

And the Lord answered, and basically he had already told him, but he says it again, if a man loves me,

he will keep my words.

My father will love him.

We'll come to him and make our abode with him.
