If you would open with me in the scriptures to John the 14th chapter this evening,

John chapter 14 and down about verse 16 here.

Well, for time's sake, let's go to 16.

Did I say 16?

Yeah. Good. John 14 14 16 says i will pray the father

and he shall give you another comforter he was jesus himself was their paraclete their comforter up until

now he just told him he's leaving.

They're very upset.

And he says, no, I'm not going to leave you without a comforter, a helper.

The father is going to send you another comforter and another means one like me.

And he said, this comforter is going to abide with you forever.

He's not going to leave you.

Not next year, not three years, not a hundred years.

Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive.

Unbelievers do not have the helper.

They're doing things on their own, on their own power,

on their own intellect. He said, the world sees him not, neither knows him. As far as unbelievers are concerned, there is no Holy Spirit. There's no such

thing. When you don't believe in God, it seems to confirm your doubt because he doesn't

manifest himself to those who reject him and don't believe in him.

He Jesus said, if you keep my words, that's the one that loves me and I'll come to him and I'll manifest myself to him.
