Summary

Stored grief, resentment, or past hurts can create blockages in the heart chakra. This meditation uses Anahata Mudra to gently release these emotional blockages, creating space for forgiveness and healing. Inspired by Bhakti Yoga, this practice allows us to open our hearts to new beginnings and deeper connections.

Bhakti is about expressing the deepest longings of the heart, connecting with the divine through love, devotion, and surrender. This is a journey of emotional healing, spiritual awakening, and the ecstatic union with the divine.

Welcome to episode 2787 of the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Meckley and I welcome you to day four of this series we're exploring this week, which is all about cultivating a deep inner devotion to that highest part of who you are. You might consider it

episode, you're going to be guided in meditation where you surrender.

You release whatever difficult emotion you are struggling with at this moment.

And I want to share with you a technique that can help you as you do this.

This is a tangible technique that you do with your hands.

It's actually called a mudra.

It's a simple technique and doing this mudra is considered to open your heart.

I'll guide you in how to do it. It's again very simple. Simply place your hands on your lap and fold your

index finger downward into your palm or right there at the very base of your finger and then take your thumb and hold your

index finger downward doing this with each hand this can help ease heartache and it helps to

cultivate a healing love.

So as you settle yourself down and get ready to meditate, sit up straight and close

your eyes gently elevating them ever so slightly upwards.

Name a difficult emotion you're struggling with.

When you think of an upsetting emotion you might be struggling with, you may even feel a sense of heartache.

Allow yourself to open up to whatever you're experiencing. This week, your challenge has been to share love and affection in some area of your life.
