vision of an angry man with burning red eyes. But as the years unfolded, the family would discover

that their experiences were not isolated. The condo had a past, a violent, tragic history

that seemed determined to leave its mark on everyone who lived there. Was this a case of restless

I'm not sure where to start, but I guess the beginning is as good a place as any.

Back in 1994, my parents bought their first home, a two-story condo in a quiet complex.

We called Bishop Manor. I was just five years

old at the time, and to me, the place seemed perfect. It had everything a family could want,
