In the 1800s, the railway system linked all the Yorkshire towns, enabling The Park Hotel to thrive as a seaside resort destination for mill workers in nearby areas like West Yorkshire and Bradford. The Park Hotel was in its heyday during this time. Many stars stayed here as a base for their performances. According to Andy Moore, it wasn't all fun and games, though.
