1:27.0	Because when you think back on the history of Fort Mifflin,
1:30.9	it goes way back. It's older than our country. When they say that it was originally commissioned in
1:39.9	1771. 1771 is sort of still in the aftermath of the French and Indian War.
1:47.5	And there was still piracy even on the Delaware River.
1:50.7	So the British were very concerned with defending their wealthy colonial city of Philadelphia,
1:56.6	which is one of the wealthiest cities in the world at that time.
