All right, boy, I've been waiting for this since Saturday night

when me and the two youngans in my family,

we took a trip to the theater.

And we saw the movie that everybody has been talking about this summer.

I guess beyond...

K-pop Demon Hunters?

Yeah, I guess beyond all the superhero crap and all that other stuff that's been going on.

The movie that has garnered the most buzz outside of those is weapons.

And weapons is a horror movie that was done by a guy named Zach Kregor who had one other movie under his belt called Barbarian.

And Barbarian was made for $4 million, and I think it made $45 million, and that gave him

the right to do whatever he wants.

Now, Zach Krieger, much like a lot of these directors now, and Jordan Peel is the most famous,

he comes from the world of comedy.

He was part of that comedy troupe, the whitest kids in America, which had an IFC show for about

four or five years. I can't remember what years it was, like maybe 08 to 13. I can't remember.

Anyway, he is behind all this. He wrote it. He directed it.

I'm not a big horror genre guy. I'm just... But there's a lot of classic 80s horror that does have an element of humor in it. Like the nightmare in Elm Street, there was always jokes in there.
