second opinion because he met with the team doctors, got an MRI on his back, which, by the way,

we've never even really mentioned it because his back is hurt, and I say that with air quotes.

We all know he's not really hurt.

It's just been something he's been sidelined with.

He met with the team doctors, got an MRI.

Schottenheimer said it looked pretty good.

He's clear to play.

But he's seeking a second opinion on his back to where he can get a doctor's note.

They don't clear him to play.

So if he does hold out into the season, he's not missing game checks.
