my trepidation and concern when the Eagles hired him

because that spells trouble.

So he got up and started talking about kicking and what's going on with these field goals that everybody's making.

And we just saw, you know, our own guy make one from 64.

Tampa's kicker, Chase McLaughlin made one from 65 like it was nothing and you're seeing it all over the league and you know I think even Green Bay when they tied the game it was a 50-something yarder and it just looked like it was nothing just eh whatever um so anyway he was talking about that. Aubrey, I think kind of lost in the Brandon Aubrey discussion is the fact that these new

kickoffs, whether or not they stick around, I don't know. I think the league really likes

where it's going, though, because of the percentage of kicks that are being returned now

and the distance that they're being returned, it's a night and day difference. It was such a superfluous play in the NFL, the kickoff. It didn't even matter. It was stupid. Yeah, in starting field position. I don't know what the average has jumped up to, but it's way better. Well, and he, Aubrey, not only is he the best kicker in the league by a mile in field goals,

he's the best at this dynamic kickoff, which we don't even talk about it.

The fact that that guy is able to kick into the landing zone, deep into the landing zone,

which is between the goal line and the 20-yard line, and not into the end zone, which is between the goal line and the 20 yard line,

and not into the end zone, which would result in a, you got to bring it out to the 35 or whatever.

Yeah, when you look at his motion, it's like he's hitting a pitching wedge.
