1:12.4	I want to welcome those who are watching on the live stream. My name is Christine Hoover,
1:17.6	and I have the privilege today to speak to you about friendships, specifically how we can love
1:24.8	others in a Christ-like way. As he has loved us, we can love others. I want to start today by
1:31.9	telling you what I call my friendship story because I expect and suspect that you will find
1:38.4	yourself somewhere in it. It will be a good jumping off point for us. When I was a child,
1:44.8	friendship came easy to me because I could just show up at the playground or go to my classroom
1:52.7	and there were my peers. They were my friends. When I would come home from the park and my mom
1:58.8	would refer to my new friends that I just met there, they were because I was in proximity to them.
2:06.4	They were my friends. That's typically how it goes in childhood. We are on sports teams or
2:13.9	we are in a neighborhood and the kids that we're around are our friends. Even into high school and
2:20.7	college, the same held true for me and whether you went to college or not, you may have experienced
2:27.5	similar things that were involved in activities and sports and organizations and were able to spend
2:33.9	so much time with our peers. We in college live with our peers and so friendship just sort of
