So we brought Wes on. We really wanted to talk about a topic that's near and dear to me.

It's something that's very important and is not really talked about all that much.

So, Wes, you're yourself an advisor.

How did you get into the field?

What kind of brought you into the field? I think like a lot of folks in the investment in planning industry, I did an internship in college.

I was at the University of North Carolina, at a big wirehouse firm in Atlanta, and ended up doing that right out of school.

And it was an advisor for got my CFP and worked there for about 10 years in the wirehouse community.

And then about 15 years ago, I always wanted to be in the RIA world, which is similar to you, Kirk,

where you own your own business.

And I did that about 15 years ago.

And I've been doing that ever since.

You know, you're big on retirement, right? Retirement is this huge area

that gets so much attention when it comes to the numbers, but so little attention when it gets to

what we call on the show the emotional side of money. So how do you kind of look at retirement from

your lens? If we go back about 10 years ago, I ended up doing a project. And so
